... It is obvious that this is the way of contact with voice centers all over the world (Links). One of our first projects is to join the World Voice Day net, for the first time in South Eastern Europe . The main topic for this year is to celebrate healthy voices and vocal skills with focus on the professional voice. (Publications) The information change with the all over the world experts will help us, but we also hope to make an original contribution to the communication science and practice. The World Voice Day is the opportunity for education about the importance of this communication channel care. That is the reason for making the plan which includes expert meeting on April 24 th (Events), and media, professional and educational institutions interviews during several days, attracting all of the people who are interesting in this topic. ... (About Us) There are 9000 patients in our Phoniatric Department annually, 1200 of them are new cases. There are 2500 patients in our Endoscopic Department annually, 900 of them undergo surgery. There are 10000 patients in our Audiology Department, annually, too. One has to look at this statistics through the prism of the fact that this is subspecialistic level of the health care system. Those patients passed through two levels of the health care system, and they need definitive therapy, that often includes several days of being out of job. REPORT OF WORLD VOICE DAY 2009. CELEBRATING IN BELGRADE With Communication Disorders Care Center establishing, ENT & MFS Institute in Belgrade , has made the first step in connecting with all of institutions and organizations that celebrate World Voice Day. During April 09. we have made a closer cooperation with media ( four interviews on TV and 3 in newspaper), in order to spread an idea of the importance of vocal hygiene. That was the reason of printing the leaflet “What to do to save the voice”, that will be distributed to everybody who is interrested, especially to our youngest part of population. The leaflet is available on Serbian version of our site, on the page- PITANJA. The central manifestation was ENT International Symposium in Sava Center on April 24 th . Leaders among World, European and Serbian Laryngologists and Phoniatricians have took a part. The Programm is available on our site on the page- EVENTS. Most presentations are available, too. Guests on the page- EVENTS, and hosts on Serbian version of our site, on the page – DOGADJAJI. About 150 ENT and speech and language specialists from Serbia and neighbouring countries were listeners, they were especially surprised on Galla Dinner in the evening in Hyat Regency Hotel. The President of Organizing Committee, Professor dr Vojko Djukic, and his colleagues, tried to do their best to make this evening unforgetable. Very special programm was so designed that even protocolar part had its drama and emotional tension. Two Professors from Musical Academy , Snezana Beric, well known as Extra Nena, and Oliver Njego, has showed the brilliant spectrum of their vocal possibilities, and made World Voice Day celebrating successful. Such final crescendo was the best way of inspiration for organizing better and prettier World Voice Day next year. There are no frontiers for good voice… |
